8 Fall Trends To Explore In 2022

Fall's here! And with it comes new fashion trends to help you stand out from the crowd. From plaids to faux fur and oversized blazers, these are our favorite looks for fall 2022.

1. Plaid

Plaid is a pattern of criss-crossed lines, usually in matching colors. The term comes from the French word for blanket, "plaid."

Plaids are often associated with tartan plaids, which are used to make clothing and other textiles. The patterns used in tartan plaids have been traced back to 16th century Scotland and have become synonymous with Scottish culture since then.

2. Luxe leather

Luxe leather is a popular fabric choice for fall, as it's a versatile and durable material that can be worn in many different ways. Leather is flexible and comfortable, allowing it to fit well with any outfit. It's also very durable—the longer you wear leather, the more beautiful it becomes.

It's best to match your bag or shoe color with your outfit; if you're wearing something neutral like an all-black ensemble, then black leather is the way to go. For something brighter or more colorful like reds and oranges, try white or brown instead!

3. Faux fur

If you're looking to add a little bit of luxe to your fall wardrobe, faux fur is a great option. It's cruelty-free and affordable, but also durable and versatile. You can find faux furs in a variety of colors and styles, from furry coats to fuzzy boots—the possibilities are endless!

4. Leather jackets

Leather jackets are a classic wardrobe staple that can be worn with anything from jeans to a dress. They're versatile and can be dressed up or down, making them the perfect item to wear year-round. If you don't have one yet, now is the time to invest in one!

5. Statement boots

If you're looking for a new pair of boots, this fall season has plenty to offer. So many options! High-heeled boots, oversized boots, laced boots, and even platform heels are all in vogue at the moment. You'll find an extensive range of boot styles at your favorite fashion boutique Charming Steals.

6. Upcycled Fashion

Upcycling is a trendy and sustainable way to create new clothing. You can use upcycled materials and accessories to create your own custom wardrobe or use it for your personal style.

It's also great for the environment! Using upcycled products will reduce the carbon footprint of fashion because you're using materials that would otherwise be thrown away, so less waste is created in the first place.

7. Oversized blazers

Oversized blazers are perfect for layering, and they make a great addition to any closet. They're also very easy to style: you can wear them over anything—whether it's a tee or dress, these oversized blazers will add an extra layer of warmth and style. Oversized blazers are especially useful in the fall because they add color to your outfit without being too overpowering or loud. They're also great for adding some variety when trying out new fashion trends!

8. Cargo pants

If you’re like us, the thought of having to wear a pair of cargo pants makes your heart sink. It just doesn’t sound like anyone wants to wear them—but maybe we should rethink our opinions. Cargo pants are actually pretty versatile and can look great if worn correctly!

If you want to add pattern or color (or both) to your outfit, go for cargo pants in one of those colors. There are so many colors available now that there is bound to be something that will suit your style perfectly. If you like simple neutrals, stick with white or black; but if loud colors and patterns are more up your alleys then go ahead and get creative. They also come in fun fabrics such as denim and corduroy which can really add some personality to an otherwise dull outfit.

As you can see, fashion is a very diverse and expansive topic. We hope that this article was able to give you a brief overview of some of the major trends we're seeing right now and what's predicted for 2022. In the end, though, We think it's important not just to follow trends but also to express your own personal style through clothing choices. The key is finding something that works for YOU!
